East Penn Soccer Club

Super Nova - East Penn Partnership

Enola, PA (March 11th, 2019) - Over the past season, we've aggressively worked toward our mission to provide all players the opportunity to develop and play at the travel and premier/elite soccer level regardless of their financial situation. We have made steady progress in implementing a player development curriculum, elevating the quality of coaching across all levels of play, and raising the bar for our player commitment standards.

We are extremely proud to announce an exciting partnership between East Penn Soccer Club and SuperNova Football Club. In this innovative partnership, the two clubs will come together to establish an Elite program with a distinct culture of excellence that will allow players to reach their fullest potential both on and off the field. Through providing best-in-class resources such as a qualified staff, facilities, and a holistic development program to help develop the total player. This will allow our players to achieve their highest soccer aspirations without the usual high costs of registration. In addition to a long-term player development curriculum, players will have access to programs including a Collegiate Soccer Advisory Program, Strength & Conditioning Training, and Nutrition Education.

Ubaldo Murillo, President of East Penn Panther United, described this partnership as "An excellent opportunity for players in Central Pennsylvania. This allows our organizations to have an affordable option with high quality coaching that will provide a player-focused development model for the elite player in our communities."

For the 2019/2020 season, the two clubs will join forces to create top boys' and girls' teams between the 2005 and 2011 birth years under the name of
"Nova East Penn," with plans to expand to additional age groups over time. East Penn Soccer Club will continue to operate all classic level programming independently. In other words, all other teams will operate as usual without any disruption.

This partnership will enhance the development of all our players. We will not only elevate elite soccer programming for our club, but we will also work together to change the high costs associated with elite level programs in Central PA.

More information regarding this partnership, including tryout dates will be released soon.
