East Penn Soccer Club

Letter from the President

As the sun sets on a great season!

Hello EPSC Families,

As the fall season comes to a close, I would like to look back at some of our accomplishments as a club. It is with great respect and appreciation that we said goodbye to the East Penn Panther United (EPPU) name. We officially became a non-profit tax-exempt charitable organization determined by section 501 (c) (3). This resulted in our club changing its name to East Penn Soccer Club (EPSC). This name represents not only our local beginnings in East Pennsboro but also our growth in Eastern Pennsylvania.

As a club that cares about its players and families, our board has worked hard to provide our players with one of the lowest registration fees in the region. We also negotiated a uniform deal with Capelli Sport that makes travel soccer affordable for all our players. Additionally, the club established a scholarship fund that has allowed us to award scholarships to a number of players. Therefore, allowing us to fulfill our mission by providing all players the opportunity to develop and play at the travel and premier/elite soccer level regardless of their financial situation.

Our club has experienced some remarkable growth this past year. This year we went from a club of only 80 players to now 200 players. We established an agreement with Super Nova FC who now operates as Super Nova East Penn in order to offer our players an affordable premier/elite option. This has also brought other opportunities, which includes affordable training camps with professional coaches.

Additionally, we have been very lucky to provide our families with several events at no cost to our players. These events included a Welcome Party at the beginning of the season that provided everyone with free pizza and ice cream, as well as gifts for everyone. We had over 70 players who participated in the Halloween Parade and gave out candy. We brought collegiate games to Adams Ricci Park for our pink out weekend and had our younger players walk out with the college players before the game. We even transformed Field E into a mini stadium to allow for a collegiate night game and allowed our players to scrimmage under the lights.

Finally, I would like to thank all our East Penn Soccer Club families who have supported us this season. This organization belongs to all of us and none of our achievements would have been possible without you. Thank you!!!

With sincere gratitude,
