FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - Spring Season 2022

This program is designed to provide a developmental soccer program for kids in the springtime.  Kids will first be expected to have fun and grow in their love for the game of soccer.  The program will also provide an atmosphere where kids can learn how develop individual and team skills.  This will be done through individual and team drills, small sided games, and free play. 

Target Age Group: ages 4-9 (birth years 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013 and 2012)

 

Q: How much is registration?
A: Registration in the spring is only $50.00

 Fees Include:

  1. Up to 7 games
  2. Pinnies, cones and goals
  3. Jersey and socks for all players 
  4. Practice twice a week
  5. Player Insurance
  6. Lining of fields (cost to paint fields)
  7. Website, supplies, marketing of program, and concessions 

Refund requests that are not related to COVID-19 cancelation, must be received prior to March 5, 2022. No Refunds will be issued after March 5, 2022. No refunds will be issued for players deciding not to play after being registered. 

Q: Is there a late registration?
A: No, there will not be a late registration

Q: What is the volunteer fee?
A: An additional per family volunteer fee that will be collected during uniform pick-up. This is a $50 refundable fee that parents/guardians will get back once they have fulfilled a single two hour volunteer shift during the season.

Note: Head Coaches (1 per team) and Assistant Coaches (1 per team) are exempt from the volunteer fee. This exemption does not include Team Parent/Managers.

Fundraiser: All players will also be required to participate in a fundraiser ($30 buyout per family).


Q: Can players outside of the League's residential area participate?

A: Yes, there are no residential restrictions to participate with EPLW. 

Q: When does the season start?
A: The season will begin in April and end in May.


Q: When will I be notified of what team my child is on?
A: Rosters are provided to coaches at the coaches meetings the 3rd week of March.


Q: What equipment is needed for my child?
A:  All players are required to wear shin guards and cleats. Each player is also required to have their own Soccer Ball.
 

 Ball Sizes (All balls must have an approximate psi (pound / square inch) of 9.0).

  • Ages 12-15: Size 5, 14-16 oz., 27”-28” circumference
  • Ages 6-11: Size 4, 12-14 oz., 25”-26” circumference
  • Ages 4-5: Size 3, 10-12 oz., 23”-25” circumference
