PRE-TRAVEL PROGRAM
The East Penn Pre-travel program was created to provide aspiring U8 soccer players with a structured and developmental introduction to the sport before they transition to our competitive travel teams.
EAST PENN PRE-TRAVEL PROGRAM
OVERVIEW
Welcome to the East Penn Soccer Club's Pre-Travel Program! Our program is led by our Pre-Travel Director and experienced coaches. The program focuses on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Through a series of engaging sessions, players will build a strong foundation that prepares them for competitive play. Join us as we cultivate a passion for soccer and foster the growth of our future stars.
PRE-TRAVEL PROGRAM PROCESS
Players participating in the Pre-Travel Program will engage in weekly training sessions during the winter months, guided by our experienced coaching directors and supported by travel coaches. This focused training aims to build skills, teamwork, and a solid foundation for future success on the field.
In the spring, participants in the program will have the opportunity to apply their newfound skills in league play. This competitive experience allows players to test their abilities in a supportive environment.
Throughout the entire process, our Pre-Travel Director oversees the development journey, implementing a carefully crafted roadmap and curriculum. This ensures that each player receives targeted guidance and instruction, setting them on the path to soccer excellence.

10/19/2024 – Pre-travel program winter registration opens
10/19/2024 – Introduction to Pre-Travel Camp (day 1)
10/20/2024 – Introduction to Pre-Travel Camp (day 2)
11/18/2024 – Pre-Travel program winter registration closes
12/02/2024 – Pre-travel winter session begins
Late March 2025 – Pre-travel spring practices begin
Early April 2025 – Competitive league games begin
May 2025 – Tryouts for East Penn Soccer Club Travel Program
Early June 2025 – Pre-travel spring season ends
